Websites
Latinitium -- This website's great for stories and videos in Latin. It also has a wicked dictionary!
Magistrula -- Awesome translation tester. Allows you to test yourself on specific grammar too!
Nova Roma -- Organisation to bring Latin back to life. Has some cool stuff on how to write emails in Latin!
Podcasts
Quodomodo Dicitur -- Cool podcasts in Latin at a conversational level!
Satura Lanx -- Some really nice short podcasts for all levels of Latin!
Artists and Songs
Keith Massey -- Translates songs into Latin. Has both English and Latin subtitles!
Heleen Uytterhoeven -- Also does popular songs in Latin, with Latin subtitles!
Voca Me Forsan -- Probably the best Latin song video I've ever watched. 10/10 would watch again.
Scorpio Martianus -- Great videos in Latin, both stories and songs. Also has Greek stuff if you're interested!
Die Irrlichter -- A German band that occasionally does songs in Latin (as well as in German, French and Spanish). My favourite's got to be Sator arepo tenet opera rotas, absolute banger.
The Miracle Aligner -- Modern songs translated into Latin (and other old languages!)
Apps
Legentibus -- An app by Latinitium that gives you stories (both from classical authors and contemporary), along with audio and a translation!
Books
Latin for All Occasions -- by Henry Beard. Great everyday phrases, including insults that you can throw at your non-Latin teachers without them realising!
Quid pro Quo -- by Peter Jones. Talks about the Latin roots of English words while explaining the cultural context behind them!
Winnie ille Pu -- Translation by Alexander Lenard of Winnie the Pooh. Great for improving your Latin reading while getting to treat yourself to a lovely ol' children's classic!
The Fate of Rome -- by Kyle Harper. Read this in Spanish in 2021 and oof was it so wild looking at words like 'pandemia' and 'cuarentena' and being like 'yeah I get chu'. Anyways, it's a really cool book that explains how plagues and climate change played a role in the fall of Rome!
Laughter in Ancient Rome -- by Mary Beard. A book. About jokes. In Ancient Rome. By Mary Beard. Need I say more???
